Join Our Dedicated Team in an Urban Oasis of Learning!

Gateway Academy, a vibrant and inclusive primary school situated in the heart of Westminster, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to join our team full-time.

Gateway is an established 2/3 form multi-cultural Academy with 550 pupils from Nursery to Year 6.

The Governors wish to appoint an experienced SENCO. This is a rare opportunity for the right candidate to join a Single Academy Trust with a diverse range of needs, and shape the SEND provision that we currently offer.

The successful candidate will be/ have:

An effective teacher with a proven record of raising attainment to narrow the gap between different groups of pupils
Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills and the ability to lead motivate and inspire others
The ability to collaborate effectively with the CoHeadteachers and Senior Leadership Team to achieve excellence
Proven management and leadership skills
